Personal profile

Samantha works with a carefully selected combination of ceramics, metals and textiles. Personal research is encapsulated in a creative handmade collection in porcelain, with the blend of textures and processes to provide an original range from jewellery to vessels.

Skills include working in porcelain, slip casting, hand building, developing a mixed media approach and CAD skills.

Research interests/expertise

Experience includes;

Being a Sole trader selling direct, through galleries and exhibiting at galleries and retail shows Nationally and Internationally. Commissions undertaken successfully.

Interpretation and implementation of client briefs.

Collaborating with creative partners for exhibitions and selling events.

Working within the commercial jewellery industry from small batch production to Internationally sourced manufacture. 

Teaching within the Adult Education industry.
