Personal profile

I am an academic with a passion for the development of the pharmacy profession, underpinned by the principles of continuing professional development and life-long learning. I specialise in the design and delivery of engaging modular education by distance and blended learning, integrating learning technologies and simulation. My teaching expertise spans undergraduate and postgraduate pharmacy education with a focus on the professional skills and attributes associated with clinical practice, including complex decision-making, clinical reasoning, communication and consultation skills, law and ethics, and research concepts. My teaching supports pharmacists to develop advanced practice skills, including those associated with prescribing practice, with a view to developing a resilient and adaptable pharmacy workforce.
